Dr. Mohamed K. Ghumrawi is President/CEO of the Jerusalem Peace Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations and teaches Middle East politics at Florida International University (FIU). Dr. Ghumrawi is also the Assistant Director of the Jaffer Center for Muslim World Studies at FIU, and the founding Faculty Director of the “FIU in the Middle East” study abroad program. His scholarly interests include dynamics surrounding Palestinian-Israeli relations, the Palestinian diaspora, Islamic studies, Middle East politics, conflict resolution, peace studies, state formation, foreign policy, and security studies. His publications include A Palestinian-American Perspective on the Holy City of Jerusalem in What Jerusalem Means to Us: Muslim Perspectives and Reflections (2021), Muslims and Jews in 7th Century Jerusalem (2016) and Muslim-Sephardi Relations (2014).
